Delete your Lodo.ai or Doneness account

This page is the official account deletion resource for the Lodo.ai mobile app (published on Google Play) and for Doneness API ( doneness.ai). You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data here.

No app required. You do not need to sign in, reinstall Lodo.ai, or contact support to start a deletion request. Submit the form below using the email address linked to your account.

How to delete your account

  1. Complete the form on this page with your account email and select whether to delete your Lodo.ai account, Doneness API account, or both.
  2. If a matching account exists, we email you a secure link to confirm deletion (usually within 48 hours; check spam). This step protects your account from unauthorised deletion.
  3. After you confirm, your account and associated personal data are scheduled for permanent deletion. This is not a temporary deactivation or “freeze”—your account will be removed.
  4. For 30 days after confirmation, you may request restoration by emailing [email protected]. After 30 days, deletion is permanent.

You may also be able to start deletion from within the Lodo.ai app (Settings → Account → Delete account, when available). This web page fulfils Google Play's requirement for an external deletion URL.

Data deleted when your account is removed

When deletion is completed for the product(s) you select, we delete or anonymise personal data associated with your account, including where applicable:

  • Account profile information (name, email, role).
  • Lodo.ai content you created or submitted (Lodos, tasks, evidence uploads, notes, and related metadata).
  • Doneness API credentials (API keys) and developer account details linked to your email.
  • Google account connection data used for Lodo.ai sign-in (tokens revoked on deletion).
  • In-app preferences and notification settings.

Data we may retain (and why)

We may retain limited information only where necessary, as explained in our Privacy Policy:

  • Legal and regulatory records (for example tax, fraud, or compliance)—typically up to 7 years where required by law.
  • Security and abuse-prevention logs (for example IP addresses, deletion request timestamps)—typically up to 90 days.
  • Aggregated or anonymised analytics that cannot identify you.
  • Backups—removed on our normal backup rotation (typically within 30–90 days after permanent deletion).

Before you delete

  • Active jobs or trials: Complete or cancel open Lodos and Doneness API trials you no longer need.
  • Payments: If you have active paid features or payouts through Lodo.ai, resolve billing with your organisation or contact [email protected] before deleting—account deletion does not automatically refund past charges.
  • School, club, or employer accounts: If your account is managed by an organisation, contact your administrator first; they may need to approve deletion or handle data under their policies.
  • Supervised minors: A parent, guardian, or authorised organisation representative may submit this form on behalf of a minor user.
